Metro Police
officers arrested 31 suspects for various offences, 256 traffic fines were
issued during patrols and operations around Cape Town
Three suspects were arrested for murder, attempted murder, illegal possession of
firearm and ammunition as well as resisting arrest in Bonteheuwel on
Sunday.
Metro Police Deputy
Chief Yolanda Faro said five motorists were arrested for driving under the
influence of alcohol.
Faro added that
during an operation in Ocean View eight suspects were arrested for being in
possession of illegal narcotics.
