The Democratic Alliance and the African National Congress are blaming each other for the farm workers strike in the Western Cape.
Farm workers in De Doorns embarked on a wage dispute protest last week, and that unrest has spread to other farming communities within the province.
The strike turned violent, with at least one person killed during the unrest.
The DA says pamphlets were found in the Theewaterskloof area, which created the impression that the ANC offered to pay some people to protest.
The DA says the pamphlets confirm their suspicions that people were paid to stage a protests.
The ANC`s Songezo Mjongile said the DA is once again fabricating the so-called confirmation to support its agenda to blame the ANC for its own failures and inability to deal with the substance of issues, like improving service delivery.
