Deputy Minster of trade and Industry on official visit to Turkey

The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Elizabeth Thabethe is on an official visit to Turkey. 

The Deputy Minister is leading a delegation of South African business people on an Outward Selling and Investment Mission.

Deputy Minister Elizabeth Thabethe said the mission will go a long way in enhancing trade and investment between the two countries. 

Department Spokesperson Sidwell Medupe explains that the mission will serve as an ideal opportunity for South African Companies that would like to export value added products and services and for companies that are looking for foreign investments from Turkey.

The Targeted sectors for the mission are energy, mining and jewellery, infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology, Capital equipment and engineering and textiles and clothing.
