The SA National Roads Agency says they plan to roll out the e-tag system at toll plazas in provinces other than
Sanral project manager Alex van
Niekerk said they want to use the e-tag technology across the country’s
existing toll system.
He was speaking while giving
journalist a tour of the Sanral operations centre in Midrand on Wednesday.
Van Niekerk added that using e-tags
would reduce traffic congestion at toll plazas.
