Fedusa is concerned that the voices of the public who do not agree with the Bill are being disregarded by those leading the legislative process.

Fedusa’s Dennis George says Parliament launched a grand campaign to engage the public on the matter, but there is still no guarantee that public opinion will be acted upon.

George said that twenty two of the submissions including Fedusa’s submissions that was made to the committee without considering these proposals and submissions that was made to Parliament.

At the same time parliament has released form their side the Parliamentary participation framework process to see whether or not more people will be interested in participating in our democracy and in the legislative process he said that is the reason why Fedusa has decided to approach the Deputy President Motlante to ask him to investigate this matter as it is a very critical issue.
