NUM spokesperson Lesiba Seshoka says mine
workers in the sector have not engaged in any illegal strikes this year.
Seshoka says an
increase of five-percent was agreed upon as well as a promise that in a few
months, further negotiations will be entered into for another salary adjustment.
He adds that the workers will receive a five percent increase along with a bonus to show some appreciation to them.
