Police are today keeping a close eye on the situation in De Doorns.
On Monday residents of De Doorns
blocked the N1 highway between De Doorns and Touws River
It is believed that the protest had
to do with farm employees and their unhappiness over lack of jobs.
During the protest vineyards were
destroyed as protestors demonstrated their anger.
