A 37 year old
police sergeant has been arrested by the Independent Police Investigative
Directorate for alleging raping a 65 year-old woman.

Spokesperson Moses Dlamini said it is alleged that the 65 year old woman asked
for a lift from the sergeant.
Sergeant Benjamin
Scheepers drove the woman to a graveyard where he pulled over the car and raped
her.
The sergeant
appeared at the Robertson
Magistrate Court Western Cape
