Five injured and one in a critical condition in an accident in Diepsloot

Five people were injured and one person is in a critical condition, when a delivery vehicle, transporting six employees on the back collided with a motor vehicle on Summit Road in Diepsloot this morning.

Santi Steinmann adds that Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on the scene and they found that six people have been injured and one in a critical condition and the other five sustained moderate to serious injuries.

 Steinmann said the critically injured patient was treated on scene before being airlifted to the Netcare Millpark hospital by the netcare 1 helicopter.

 The other five patients were also treated on scene and stabilised on scene before being transported to the various hospitals in the area, for the treatment that they required.
