Premier of the North West Thandi Modise said fraud and corruption pose a serious threat to the stability and security of societies as they undermine democratic institutions and values of our democracy.

Modise added that ethical values and justice also jeopardise sustainable development, effective service delivery and the rule of law.

Spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele said that the Premier vowed that her administration, which was acknowledged by the Department of Public Administration for being the only province with a functioning anti-corruption forum, will spare no effort to uproot corruption syndicates that are preying resources meant to improve the lives of the people.
