The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa on Tuesday said they have plans for a make-over of the trains by 2015.

The make-over includes air-conditioning and security cameras.

Prasa Spokesperson Moffet Mofokeng said that the plans for the make over and decision have been taken up a long time ago.

He adds that they are now in the implementation stage of the plans.

Mofokeng further explains that the only thing that still needs to be done is that Prasa needs to conclude is that contract with all partners involved, and after that the manufacturing of the trains would begin.
