ANC honor Steven Dlamini

African Union Commission Chairperson Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma on Sunday attended the African National Congress centenary celebration in her homestead, Bulwer Kwazulu Natal.

The event was in honor of the struggle stalwart Mr Steven Dlamini who lived in this village in rural Southern Natal.

 
Dr Dlamini Zuma said that her family is honored by the gesture of the African National Congress by making them part of the centenary celebration.

PresidentJacob Zuma and the Premier of the Kwazulu Natal province Dr Zweli Mkhize also attended the celebrations.
 
President Jacob Zuma also paid tribute to Steven Dlamini who was also imprisoned in Robben Island and was one of the Rivonia treason trialists.

This is part of the ANC 100 years` celebrations and the torch is expected to be extinguished on the 08th of January 2013 in Durban.
