“It is believed that the child was playing
with matches at the time of the occurance of the fire while his father was
asleep” Solomons-Johannes said.
More fires in were reported in Belhar, Du
Noon, Gugulethu, Mfuleni and Strand .
Two people were 32 displaced in the blazes,
the DRMC came to the aid of those affected by the blaze to distribute building
material, food parcels, clothing and blankets.
