The South African Democratic Teachers Union has visited several schools as part of its back-to-school campaign.

SADTU said it is encouraged to observe that many learners of school-going age reported to school.

SADTU Limpopo Secretary Jacob Raphasha said Limpopo is a province that is extremely under resourced compared to Gauteng.

Raphasha added that if it was not for the late textbook delivery saga the province would have performed better.

Raphasha reiterated that the province would have preformed better if they had a good management in the provincial department of education.
