Mluleki Mrwebi
A fire that broke out in Lenasia South this morning left one person dead.
It is alleged that the man and his wife were sleeping when their house caught fire, the man died on the scene and his wife sustained moderate injuries.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santie Steinmman said paramedics treated the woman on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
Steinmman added that the cause of the fire is not known at this stage and the police are investigating.
