A woman killed while rescuing a cat

A woman was killed when she was hit by a car this morning while trying to rescue a cat in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
The 48 year-old, woman reportedly landed in front of car as she was rescuing a cat that had been hit by another car.
Netcare 911`s Chris Botha said, when paramedics arrived at the scene, the woman had died already due to the extent of her injuries.
 Police are investigating the incident.
