ER24 this morning attended to a motorcycle accident on Edward Street
A 24-year-old is in a critical condition after he lost control of his motorbike.
The cause of the accident is unclear at this stage but police are investigating the incident.
ER24’s Derrick Banks said when paramedics arrived on the scene they found the motorcyclist in the road with his bike just a few meters away with extensive damage to the bike.
Banks added that Paramedics assessed the patient and found he was in a critical condition after sustaining a head injury, chest injury and multiple broken bones, once stabilised, the patient was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
