The North West Premier Thandi Modise is expected to deliver the State of the Province Address on Friday at the Provincial Legislature.
Expected to feature in her address include the North West Development Plan, roll out of infrastructure development projects, job creation and interventions to improve service delivery.
In recent months the province has hit a backlog especially in electricity, schools, clinics, roads and water.
President Jacob Zuma in his State of the Nation Address said he expects these backlogs in the province to be fast-tracked in the next two years.
Provincial Spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele said the programme of action that the Premier will announce will cover five priorities, schools, health and the fight against crime.
