61 children and 3 teachers stung be a swarm of bees in Bellville.

This morning paramedics rushed to a school in Bellville where 61 children aged between five and ten as well as three teachers were stung by bees.

It is believed that the children were at a school for special needs when the swarm of bees went on a rampage stinging 64 people. 

Netcare 911’s Chris Botha said when they arrived on the scene they found four occupants in a critical condition.

The critical injured were transferred to the nearest hospital.
