This morning Netacare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on the N1 outside Bloemfontein in the Free State.
When paramedics arrived on the scene they found a heavy goods vehicle and a minibus transporter had collided head-on.
Netacare 911’s Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said one person tragically died during the accident and two man sustained moderate injuries.
After the two man were treated on scene they were transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
