Five people injured in shootout in Durban

Paramedics today attended to a shooting at Inanda road in Durban. 

Two people are in a critical condition; this is after they sustained several gunshot wounds while three others sustained serious injuries. 

The exact details of the cause of the incident are under investigation. 

Netcare 911’s Chris Botha said a female and a male both had sustained critical wounds and they were stabilized on the scene and transported through to Netcare facilities in Durban.

Botha added that there were three people working at a shop when they sustained injuries, they were also treated on the scene and transported to a nearby hospital.
