A man burnt to death in an accident

Western Cape police said a man burnt to death when a car and a truck collided head-on in Riversdale on Thursday.

 It is alleged that the man lost control of his vehicle and collided head-on with the truck. 

The identity of the man that burnt still needs to be verified. 

Captain Malcolm Pojie said preliminary investigations indicated that the driver of the Mercedes Benz vehicle was traveling towards George.

Pojie added that the three occupants of the truck which included the driver were transported to a local hospital to receive medical care.
