Accident claimed two lives in KZN

Netcare 911 Paramedics rushed to an accident in Harrsimith, Kwa-Zulu Natal last night.

Upon their arrival they found that a heavy goods vehicle and minibus collided and that the minibus was lodged underneath the heavy goods vehicle.

Netcare 911’s Santi Steinmann said two people tragically died, three people were critically injured and were entrapped.

Steinmann added that services had to use of the Jaws of life to free from the minibus.

Steinmann further added that they were treated and stabilised on scene and they were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
