Many organizations have expressed their concerns with regards to the Ficksburg Regional Court ruling last week.

The court acquitted all seven police officers, accused of murdering Andries Tatane.

Tatane was killed during a service delivery protest in Ficksburg back in 2011.
The court argued that the state could not prove its case beyond reasonable doubt, this came after witnesses failed to identify the accused on the footage.

The Congress of the People Youth Movement General Secretary Abel Rangata said it is very disappointing that Tatane died in front of everyone but there is no person that will be prosecuted for his murder.
