The Democratic Alliance has called on ANC Provincial Chairman Senzo Mchunu to retract the irresponsible statements he made which are easily interpreted as encouraging political violence towards the DA.

Kwa-Zulu Natal DA provincial leader Sizwe Mchunu said Senzo Mchunu comments can easily be understood as saying the DA shed blood in order to be given the right to promote it in certain regions.

“Senzo Mchunu was quoted as saying it was worrying the DA posters were seen in townships and rural such as KwaNongoma, as it had taken the ANC a number of years to be able to walk free and erect poster because of political violence that had taken place” DA’s Sizwe Mchunu said.
