Hawks to investigate the death of Thabang Makhoang

The National Education Health and Allied Workers Union has given its support to the call for the Hawks to investigate the death of Thabang Makhoang during orientation programme of the university’s Potchefstroom campus. 

The North West University has conducted an official investigation into the incident, but Nehawu said the findings of the investigation lacked values of human dignity, transparency and justice. 

Nehawu’s North West Provincial Coordinator Zwelinjani Thoba said the truth of this matter will assist to bring justice not only to the deceased but to the family as well.

Thabo added that the investigation that was done shows that the institution would do anything to bury the truth.
