Human Settlement MEC to hand over houses in Boys Town

The Western Cape MEC for Human Settlement Bonginkosi Madikzela will this afternoon be handing over houses to special needs beneficiaries at the Boys Town Housing Project in Nyanga. 

The housing project is worth R251 million and when complete will deliver 1 392 houses, with phase 1 of 559 units almost complete. 

Ministerial Spokesperson Bruce Oom said the beneficiaries are both wheelchair bound, the other one is 57 years old and another is a 30 year old.

Oom also said the special needs houses represents part of the governments` focus is prioritise people with special needs.
