North West Premier Thandi Modise has
called for minorities to be brought on board to fight HIV and Aids.
Modise said HIV and Aids pandemic is not a
black affair but it cuts across all classes and race and gender.
Primeir said the success of the
North West Provincial Council on Aids depends on how it manages contradictions
and differences.
Spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele said the
new council has to create and formed a partnership for an expanded North
West province response among government agency
and non-government organization those are the people living with HIV and AIDS.
Kgwele added that Premier said she
wants the council to do its best and lead.
“She appeals to members of the council
to work through consensus and to put the people of the province first and to be
loyal with them respectively.” Kgwele added
