The Democratic Alliance in Kwa-Zulu Natal Legislature said it will be taking legal action against the National Prosecuting Agency in a bid to obtain certain records.

These records include charges of fraud and racketeering dropped against two senior African National Congress politicians in the province.

DA Leader in KZN Sizwe Mchunu said that two senior ANC officials in KwaZulu Natal were Peggy Nkonyeni who is a speaker in the Legislature and Mike Mabuyakhulu who is the MEC of Economic Development.

“We have decided to go this route after our attempt to get the records through the prior application were rejected by the NPA” Mchunu added.
