Ministers studying report on Guptagate

It has been confirmed that the Justice, Crime, Prevention and Security Cluster Minister are considering a report which was submitted by the Directors General on Tuesday. 

Government Spokesperson Phumla Williams said the outcome of the report into the Waterkloof Air Force Base investigation will be made public soon.

The Gupta family landed their plane carrying wedding guest at the Waterkloof Air Force Base without permission.

Williams said that the Ministers have confirmed that they are studying the report and that they will be coming back to the public and briefing through the media briefing on a date that will be announced soon.

She added that they also want confirm that the Ministers as they have said in the beginning, that they have committed that they will deal with this matter decisively and they will come back and indicate what happened, how the matters will be fixed so that the incident doesn’t ever happen again.
