Yet another person was arrested at the Beit Bridge Border Post for being in possession of drugs worth R6 million.
The 38-year-old Zimbabwean was
arrested on Sunday after a 36-year-old Congolese was arrested on Saturday for
being in possession of drugs.
Police spokesperson Ronel Otto said
when officers searched the suspect’s bag they found about 2.2 kg of heroin in a
hidden compartment.
Otto added that the suspect is expected
to appear in court soon on charges of dealing in drugs.
