The National Union of Mineworkers said it
is angered at the small sentence against Arther Brown.
Brown was today found guilty of two
accounts of fraud relating to the Transport Education and Training Authority
and the Mantadia Assets Trust Company.
He has been sentenced to pay a
R150 000 fine or a total of three years in prison.
NUM
said they will scrutinize the judgement and sentence and decide on a way
forward.
NUM Spokesperson Lesiba Seshoka said we disappointed that he was given as little as 36 months or pay a R150 000 fine, It’s totally unacceptable.
