Two people injured in accident in Johannesburg

Netcare 911 paramedics last night responded to an accident at the intersection of the R25 and Lynnwood Road. 

The accident left two people seriously injured.

The exact details of the cause of the accident and preceding events will be investigated by the police.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said upon the arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle crossed the intersection and crashed through the fence on the other side.

Steinmann said the driver and the another occupant of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and after they were stabilized on scene and were then transported to a nearby medical facility for further medical care.
