A 62-year-old arrested for alleged drunk driving

A 62-year-old man was arrested by police in Hartebeesfontein near Klerksdorp for reckless and negligence driving.

The driver who was also found to have being under the influence of alcohol, collided head on with an oncoming vehicle. 

It is alleged that the suspect collided with a vehicle which had six passengers and a driver who were allegedly from a soccer tournament in Hartebeesfontein. 

Captain Pelonomi Makau said the suspect was allegedly drunk and his vehicle was swerving from one side of the road to another that caused his truck to collide with another vehicle.
