Police have arrested five suspects after they allegedly spilt human faeces at the entrance of the departure terminal at the Cape Town International Airport.

African National Congress councillor, Loyiso Nkohla, and expelled city councillor, Andile Lili, are among those arrested.

They were also arrested for a similar offence a few weeks ago, when they tipped the contents of portaloos at the entrance of the Western Cape Legislature.

Lieutenant Colonel Andre Traut said the suspects will make a court appearance once they have been charged.

“The situation is closely monitored by police, and we will take action if it is necessary” Traut added.
