A driver believed to be in her thirties, had a narrow escape suffering moderate injuries after losing control of her vehicle this morning.

ER24’s Derrick Banks said the car fell down a cliff face about 150 m down Kloof Road in Clifton, landing in a backyard of a house between a wall and the house itself.

Banks said that when emergency personnel got to the scene, the woman had already climbed out of her car.

“She was treated on the scene by means of Advanced Life Support Services and transported to a nearby hospital.

“The exact details of why she lost control of her car are unclear, and the necessary authorities will investigate” Banks added.
