It is believed that the man was knocked down by a minibus.
Netcare 911’s Chris Botha said when paramedics arrived on the scene, they found a man in a critical condition.
Botha added that the man was stabilized on the scene and they transferred him to the hospital, after he arrived on hospital he was declared dead due to severe injuries he had sustained.
The exact details of the cause of the accident are unknown but police are investigating.
