The Democratic Alliance on Friday
served legal papers on former Tlokwe Mayor Maphetle Maphetle and other
councillors who are currently refusing to vacate the municipal offices.
The DA said officials have been
instructed by the African National Congress not to allow the new DA
administration access to the offices.
DA Leader in the North West Chris Hattingh
said in the past it was their office.
Hattingh added they will proceed
with a formal interdict to have them removed from the premises.
