The Congress of South African Trade Union
in the North West said it held a
successful campaign against the most expensive toll road in the country.
Cosatu said it will not rest until the toll
gate tariffs are reduced or removed in the roads.
Provincial Secretary of the North West
Solly Phetoe said that as Cosatu they are very happy that they are now getting
the support from the motorists, from business people, from the taxi industry
and from all the people who came to the motor gate.
“We are saying now that the next programme
will be on the 26th which will start from the Swartruggens towards Brits
and we will be changing our approach in making sure that the campaign against
the e-tolling,” added Phetoe.
