The Democratic Nursing organisation of South Africa said it is still concerned about the shortage of supply of medication in some of the Gauteng’s health centres.
Denosa said the shortage will prove to be counterproductive to the country’s progress in fighting the scourge of diseases such as HIV/AIDS.
Denosa Spokesperson Sibongiseni Delihlazo said this not good, more especially for nursing because they the frontline of the health care in the communities.
Delihlazo further said there are also some patients that are not receiving their medication up to a week and that may result in them becoming more sick.
