The Democratic Nursing Organisation of
South Africa will be tabling the many problems confronting nurses which affect their
reputation within the country’s healthcare system.
This topic and others will feature highly
and be discussed at this year’s three-day conference of nurses in October.
Denosa’s Dr Daphne Conco said the aim of
the conference is to bring together nurses and deliberate ways on influencing policies
of the country.
“We want to strengthen our role as nurses,
in influencing policies in creating a better health environment for the South
Africans” Conco added.
