Head-on collision claimed one life and four injured

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on the R28 near West Village in Krugersdorp last night where one person died and four were left injured.

 When paramedics arrived on the scene they found two vehicles had collided into each other. 

Netcare 911’s Santi Steinmann said a man tragically lost his life and a woman sustained critical injuries.

Steinmann added that a 15 year-old girl sustained serious injuries.

The injured people were treated on scene before transported to various hospitals for further medical care.

Steinmann also said exact to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
