Minister Mthethwa applauds police for arrest of suspected serial rapist in KZN

Over the past few months in KwaZulu-Natal there have been five murder cases of women that were investigated, who were all lured by a particular suspect through promising to offer them job opportunities. 

Police through investigation arrested the suspect who has been linked to three cases of murder as well as rape. 

Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa said as government we remain resolute in ensuring that perpetrators of crimes against women, children and elderly are heavily punished. 

Ministerial Spokesperson Zweli Mnisi Minister Mthethwa commended the SAPS in KwaZulu Natal for apprehending the serial rapist who has been tormenting the community.

“As part of the integrated approach, we shall continue to investigate further to ensure that this perpetrator receives the harshest conviction in the court of law” Mnisi added.
