Over 200 Western Cape pupils attend innovation Workshop

Over 200 pupils from schools in Nyanga, Mitchell’s Plain, Philippi and Manenberg are attending a five-day entrepreneurship conference at the South Peninsula High School 

One of the main focuses of the conference is innovation Workshop where young participants research newspapers to find business ideas. 

Ministerial Spokesperson Bronwynne Jooste said small businesses are a key component of economic growth but entrepreneurs do not suddenly emerge.

Jooste added that there is a process of gradual development and the Western Cape government innovate programme for young people provides  share ideas and they are given support and there also access to the business incubators.
