The Western Cape Government is this week visiting small business as part of the Red Tape Reduction Listening Tour.

MEC of Finance, Economic development and Tourism Alan Winde said the Red Tape Reduction plays a key role in helping small business grow and assist when they encounter red tapes in doing business.

Winde also said they are visiting businesses from tour companies who were struggling to get licenses, to companies who managed to get a contract through Transnet with regards to the dug out harbour in KZN and they managed to get the contract because the task team had intervened.

“They got the R12 million contract because we managed to intervene in time.

“Red Tape is asking business to let us know where you have a blockage and we will see how we can fix it” Winde added.
