The South African Communist Party in the Eastern Cape had requested transparency from the Minister of Home Affairs Naledi Pandor, to reveal their travelling allowance funding.

Anti-apartheid activist Ronnie Kasrils on Thursday said there are more serious problems in the country than to focus on ministers travelling allowance.

SACP Spokesperson Siyabonga Mdodi said they are trying to move away from the core issues that they (SACP) raised.

“They must be transparency in telling who is funding them”, Mdodi added.

Mdodi also said they are trying to put wool over their eyes.
