He also said no one has been arrested as yet and the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
The Eastern Cape Police has confirmed that
a body of woman was discovered in the forest near Thuthurha village on Tuesday.
The woman had gone missing on Sunday after
a church service.
Police Spokesperson Jackson Manatha said that
she went home about 17:00pm when her mother
realised that her daughter had not arrived home she called church leaders and
found out her daughter’s body have been recovered.
Manatha added that the woman was attacked with a scarf and
killed but no signs of rape.
He also said no one has been arrested as yet and the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
