A 16 year old to appear in court on charges of dealing in drugs

The members of the Crime Intelligence Unit and the Organised Crime Unit conducted a two month operation in the Belhar area in Durban.

Undercover agents purchased drugs from drug users in the area.  

During one of the operations a 16-year-old was arrested at a local shopping centre when he attempted to undercover agents. 

Police Spokesperson Jay Naicker said police swooped on the residence in Parmer Road but unfortunately the two suspect had left the house.

Naicker added that the suspects are known to the police and the police will arrest them soon, currently only the 16 year-old is in police custody, he is expected to appear in court on charges of dealing in drugs.
