A 35-year-old arrested for ANC Councilors murder

Police in KwaZulu-Natal has confirmed that they arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with the murder of African National Congress Councilor in Ulundi.  

Makhosonke Msibi was gunned down at his house in Durban. 

He sustained several gunshot wounds on his body and died instantly. Police said the motive for the killing is still unknown. 

Colonel Vincent Mdunge said the team that has been established managed to arrest the suspect in the early of hours of this morning.

The suspect is expected to appear in the Ulundi Magistrate court on Monday facing charges of murder with aggravating circumstances.
