ACDP concerned over high cases of rape against WC police

The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape said it is shocked at the latest statistics which show that the province has the highest cases of rape in the country. 

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said they will continue to follow through all possible avenues to ensure that rape against women and children comes to an end. 

Christians added that the ACDP is deeply worried that the officers that are supposed to protect communities are the ones being accused of rape and serious crimes.

“We are calling on Provincial Commissioner Arnor Lamoer to address and resolve the issue with immediate effect. Christians added.
